Haha! I was wondering how a simple seat removal question could drag on into a second page.
But yes, when I bought mine....it took the brains of no less than 4 people about 10 minutes to figure out how to remove the CB's seat!

I had no problems removing the seat as my CB1000 has the same set up although the lock is a little more back and there is a nice storage area under neat the rear cowl.
