@Kiowa: I may not, but not because my wheels have been sold Wink

But I have seen high part prices (see below), and it occurred to me that the sum of parts may be higher than a used CB1100. And any parts which are easy to inspect before the deal is sealed seem to sell. Here is what I found:
- tank new >1000, used up to 80%
- wheels new each ~1000, used 80%
- pipes new each side ~ 800, used 70%
- ABS module ~1600, used ... not certain, but 50% seems possible
- ECU ~ 1200, used 70%
- seat ~ 500, surely 60%
- LED headlight (my EX), ~600, used 80%
not sure about engine and gearbox, but a simple drop in the garage may require an exchange.

Put those numbers together, the total is about what one has to pay for a 2014 DLX ... without the engine.
And I do not see any legal issues if the parts are sold privately without any warranty : what you inspect is what you get = what you see is all there is.
I could be wrong all right.

Oh good! Then you don’t have an excuse after all! Clap

Hope to see you there!

You mean whatever kind of lame excuse I come up with, you won't accept it - meaning I have to go ?

Look at it more as a challenge, not to come up with a less lame excuse but to go spend time with some awesome folks riding some equally awesome roads! Thumbs Up
