The Bike Master grips are just as good for $300.00 less. They have 5 settings. I can't imagine paying over 300.00 for heated grips.

Hi,
Did anybody measure the diameter of the stock vs the heated grips? Are the heated grips any softer than the stock grips? Stock grips are too small and hard. Thanks

I have the Oxford Premium Heated Touring grips on my other bike. 5 heat settings 30% 40% 50% 75% and 100% although I have never used anything more than 40% so far down into the high 30's for temps. Easy plug and play install although the inner tubes MAY take some fiddling. Did on mine, didn't on my brothers. $89 retail. Hardware is not as "clean" as factory grips with a controller on an arm and a rubber arm on throttle and clutch grips you have to make sure won't interfere with levers. Not a big deal, but you must be aware. Installation was about 45 mins to an hour total if you don't have to fiddle. I must say they work really well, putting out a lot of nice warm heat. They do measure 1/4" larger n circumference than my 719 Gel grips (and the stock Honda grips, although that is one of the first things I upgrade on all my bikes) and you can definitely feel it. I like smaller grips (stock diameter is fine with me) and these feel "too big" but I can live with it for the heat.

With that being said, I will probably order the BMW grips. I am used to larger and softer grips that I have on my Harley Heritage and after a ride this weekend with the CB I will have to take care of that asap. Magnus |
