Ok darn it! Finally, 25 posts! Sorry for the useless entry here, but sheesh! It's been what, two months since I registered and I've patiently been waiting for my post count to reach the magic number. Yeah, I could've cheated with useless fluff, but that would have defeated the entire 'process' rendering it meaningless. Hopefully, I've made my point...
Now maybe I can try the classifieds. I still need a more comfortable seat and will probably try looking for some sidebags & side racks too.

Congrats, but if I can let me make a point about your comment about useless posts. Welcoming new members and commenting on pics etc is hardly " useless". New members appreciate feeling welcomed to a new and strange place and when they feel at ease they are more likely to participate, making the forum better for everyone.
When someone takes the time to take a nice pic, and the time to dowload it, post it, and share it with us, they also appreciate it when you acknowledge their efforts.
As to the forum, we need more than a dozen regulars making all the posts. In order to be an active, exciting and entertaining place for members to visit, everyone needs to do their part. Lurkers add nothing to a forum.
We welcome all to participate whether they feel their contributions are useless or not. No question is stupid and no post is useless.
Hope you find what you are looking for in the classifieds.

Well said indeed! This IS the best bike forum on the net... but all of the posts here seem to be about this 'mediocre' machine. I know ... hey R4N... get over it! I'll try.... Maybe I'll just head over to the Harley or Mercedes forum... they might have something more important to talk about, like what kind of oil to use, and why it's important to put the filler cap back on after changing the oil.

The illustrious Mr. Ferret says it well. This forum is pure gold and I wish others were more like it.
As for the mediocre machine, it will always please this mediocre rider! As for filler caps, be sure to put some oil in first too before starting the engine.

A moving, purposeful and inspiring post.
Well done all who contributed.
Still waiting for the explanation on why it's necessary to put the filler cap back on though. Doesn't it let the horse breath in the engine compartment?

I think that's right. I've been struggling to respond to this post. The Ferret has nailed it.
