Upgraded Operating Environment: PHP 8.4

Like a computer, our Forum has an operating system. And like a computer, those operating systems have to be updated to ensure stability and security.

We have engaged Mostafa to upgrade our Forum from its current operating system, PHP 8.2, to PHP 8.4. We have made what we hope are the appropriate configuration settings and completed the update this evening. We are now in a testing phase.

If you encounter any problems while logged into our Forum, please post your feedback in this Thread so Mostafa and I can address them.

When we are done, we should have a Forum that manages graphics and videos better, completes queries faster, and is more stable.
