Surprising results:
Q2
1 DOVIZIOSO 1'45.246
2 ROSSI 1'45.961
3 REDDING 1'46.312
4 MARQUEZ 1'46.430
5 CRUTCHLOW 1'46.568
6 HERNANDEZ 1'46.828
7 Pol ESPARGARO 1'46.997
8 Aleix ESPARGARO 1'47.118
9 IANNONE 1'47.567
10 PETRUCCI 1'47.601
11 LORENZO 1'47.897
12 VIÑALES 1'48.415
Dovizioso sets a blistering pace in the wet, Rossi in 2nd 0.7 seconds behind. Lorenzo a whopping 2.7 seconds behind, Pedrosa didn't make it out of Q1. Satellite teams shined.
Marquez crashed on his out lap, summersaulting in the gravel, jumping to his feet and running behind the wall. He spotted an unattended scooter and rode it back to the pit where his crew was busy changing bike 2 from dry to wet. He managed two laps. Pretty amazing.
Anyone missing a scooter?

That's why Marquez is a world class rider, determination. The way he leapt to his feet as he stopped rolling and commandeered the scooter, no lost motion. Love it!

Sadly, the place I'm staying has declined to pay the subscription for the Sky channel that broadcasts the GP, so I didn't see it. I have, though, just read the press release from the MotoGP lot ([url=http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2016/06/26/update/204529]here). Sounds like it was an extraordinary race with an unexpected outcome.
Well done, Jack!

It was a crash fest. Congrats to Jack Miller for his first MotoGP premier class win, and wow can the guy stand up wheelie..holy cow. I love the Honda wing emblem on Millers bike
Think at one time Ducati had all 3 podium slots filled until one by one they crashed out. Poor Rossi, rode so well until....

Way to go Jack Miller! And congrats to Marc Marquez for showing maturity once again. You can be sure Valentino and Jorge will be back with a vengeance.

And Honda will only get better. They have the thin race calendar in summer to figure out the spec electronics and dial in the bike. Great that Marc gained the lead while they were in catch up mode.
