Motorcycle Speed Record

Motorcycle.com reports that Triumph's attempt on the land speed record is stymied by bad weather.

Cruise up to Starbucks on that! Needs a cafe seat and clip-ons, though :-)

We're having torrential storms moving through northern Utah right now. I'm sure the salt flats got hammered.

A tornado was even reported yesterday, which is unusual.

I tried to find a more credible source than Revzilla's blog page, but it appears that salt depletion at the Flats is causing some issues for land speed record challenges like this one.
