I picked up a brad that didn't penetrate the inner carcass of my rear tire at the same rally. We were all standing around trying to decide whether to leave it or pull it an plug it. We got out the pliars and plug kits and proceeded to pull the nail and amazingly it never punctured the inner carcass.

Exactly what happened to me

That nail is square cut and looks like it might be hammer forged and could be from the 1800's.
They are very common in very, very old buildings around here.

well, i definitely did not go through one of those building things Big Grin
but the darn nail thing are annoyingly common in our streets
