CB1100 ergonomics - ongoing
#1
Question re aftermarket handlebars: I've already rolled the stock bars slightly to the rear which helped me with reach to the bars. Stock bar width and height are fine. I'd just like to get them 1 - 1 1/2" closer to me. Any suggestions (brand and price?)

The stock saddle doesn't provide me with the amount of support I'd like under my thighs. Even though the saddle appears to be flat, when viewed with the bike on the center stand, it feels like it leans low in the front, or simply doesn't provide the support I'd like. Suggestions ?

On a positive note, I installed a set of adjustable foot pegs yesterday, and have them adjusted so they drop the pegs possibly 1/2 - 3/4", and put them forward about the same amount. Not a lot, but noticeable. I think they'll work for me.

Well, time to get new tires on the R100GS today, so it's off to the garage to remove wheels and take them to the dealer. Installing 2nd set of Metzeler Tourance Next tires. They're slanted toward touring (90%) and off pavement (10%)

I installed S W Motech risers on my wife's CB. Places bars about 1" higher and 1" back; made a world of difference in comfort for her. Available at Twisted Throttle.

Despite being 6'2" and having long arms I found leaning forward on my 2017 EX during my day-rides was hard on the lower back. Like many others here I added [url=http://www.genmarmfg.com/shop/universal-risers/x102-detail.html]GenMar Risers to my CB1100. They raise the bars 1" up and 1 3/8" back. That provides a more comfortable straight up riding position.

Guys, thanks for the suggestions.

Obleo, Aussieflyer, on this forum, provided me with this number which I searched for on eBay and found them at a real low price. When I search eBay for this number (152243475905) now, it finds nothing. Maybe search eBay for 'cb1100 adjustable footpegs.
