Well, I did my first ride with the T30 160/60 today. It's excellent. Since it's on a narrower rim than it's intended for, it seems to be fine from the diameter standpoint.
I can also happily report it cured the full Yosh from touching down on hard rights. The profile is such that when you're at full lean, you gain about 1/2" ground clearance, above and beyond the skinny stocker, which was just what I needed. I wouldn't have necessarily believed it, but Lee and I traded bikes back and forth today (I let him ride my XSR900) but I saw it with my own eyes when we did some spirited riding through areas I'm usually sparking up a little, and everything was fine. We'll see what kind of mileage it gets.
The front T30 is still looking good, no feathering or crazy wear pattern. I really like these tires Wink

Glad that yore not hitting hard parts. I am interested to hear your reports on performance over time along with how it's wearing. I have about 12,000 miles to go before making a tire choice since I just reshod with PR3s, so no rush on the reports. LOL.
