Routinely wipe my Ural down with WD40, leaves the Russian imitation steel shiny and helps slow corrosion. Spray and "mop" inside the trunk and floor of the sidecar as well as under the fenders and frame.
Ural notorious for corrosion, plenty of discussion on the forum about how to slow or stop it. Quite a few recommendations and suggestions for products to use. Some wax based, some thin film petroleum products, a couple from aerospace. Mostly boils down to using something under the fenders and in other hidden areas, and using it consistently.
Think I'll add five more minutes to my cleaning and maintenance schedule and be safe. Yeah, I use a leaf blower as first step in drying vehicles off too.
