Try going back to regular unleaded and evaluate if the root cause has been cleaned out?

If not, then the real problem is just being masked.

For some reason I thought you also had the same issue as obleo's prior post. An incorrect plug heat range sounds like a reason assessment to me 1973cb750.

We seem to beat this problem senseless every few years. There was an endless discussion of this in "Hesitation? Not running smoothly?" People swore by fuel additives, using fuel without alcohol, using high-octane fuel, replacing the IACV, replacing spark plugs, replacing the coils, but I wonder if anyone has ever determined what causes it and how to fix it?
Refer to "Hesitation? Not running smoothly?" post #65 and go back from there.

I get mine at autozone in gallon jugs, since I use it in 3 motorcycles, 2 mowers,a weed whacker, a leaf blower, a snow blower and a chain saw. Have had zero fueling issues since I started using seafoam for storage and for the first couple of tanks in the spring. Good stuff imo.
Hi Ferret, can Seafoam be used with diesels? Thanks.

I don't know Dave, it's a gas stabilizer????

Yesterday I needed to use my chainsaw to clear a few limbs. I dug it out and looked at the tag on it where I write when it was last run and got Seafoam in it. It said 11/18/20. UH oh. I guess I haven't used it in awhile lol. Now I'm kind of worried if it's going to start and run. Checked the gas in the unit and it still had some. Didn't have any in the 1 gallon jug in the shed. Oh well. Flip the lever, pull it through a few times easy, pull 2 times hard and it pops. Back off the choke pull it once and it fires right up and runs clean. Cut the branches I needed to cut and put it back away.

I'm a believer.

Awesome, and good to know for small displacement motors.
