chassis refresh
#1
Last December I bought a used 30,000 mile 2014 CB1100. I want to take some long distance trips on it so I decided to give it some TLC. The bike runs and rides good but there's room for improvement. Here's my list of repairs, changes, upgrades.
New wheel bearings and seals, new swingarm bearings and seals, upgraded to new tapered roller bearing neck bearings and seals, new tires, new chain and both sprockets (dropped the rear tooth count from 40 to 39) new hub drive rubber cushions, adjustable rear shocks, Race tech front springs, all new fork bushings, seals and fork oil, engine oil change, spark plugs, valve check, brake pads, flushed all the hydraulics, Airflow seat cover, some cushy grips and a front fender extender.
I've been working on it for a month or so and I hope to get it back on the road in a week or two.

Assume you are replacing the air ckeaner as well.

Quite an extensive list that should make it almost good as new

The air cleaner is a K&N and it got a bath and re-oil.
I should be able to get another 30,000 miles out of it with oil changes and chain adjustments.

We have at least 4 members with 100K plus and a few not far behind that, so 60 should be easily attainable
