53.5 pound-feet of torque ? isn't that about what the CB1100 makes at around 2K RPM ?
ether way I always hope everyone enjoys any bike they decide on because it is so much cheaper to get a new bike than a new woman !!!!!!

Congrats on the new bike. Been seriously considering trading / selling my CB lately, primarily due to weight. It's an absolute cruise missile once I can let it stretch its legs, but I have to get through a lot of slow/bumpy urban nonsense before that happens.

I read that somewhere else it said 73 which sounds more realistic. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

That is the stock Z900 torque spec.

I’m definitely buying this if they sell it in the US.
Could do without the stripe on the fairing though.

Agreed. You can see what they're trying to do by running that stripe all the way to the back, but up front and over the headlight doesn't work for me.
What they could have done is run the striping up, following the contour of the fairing, and taper it to a narrow point at the top...it would look like the horns of an fast animal! : )
