I wouldn't sweat it.  It looks good even when it isn't perfect.  When I do clean it, it cleans up nicely and each part gives the impression of being well made.  I don't think you will find it burdensome.

There's a difference in riding a naked bike and riding a bike naked.
Won't make that mistake again.
