Daytona Speedweek........

Just curious if anyone is attending this year.
Daytona Speedweek and attending some spring training baseball games during the same holiday have been on my "bucket list" of things to do before I leave this wonderful life. I've had the great fortune of attending all three US venues of MotoGP in the last four years, and before I plan to attend the LeMans, Assen, and Mugello legs of 2-wheeel GP racing, I figure I should at least attend a Speedweek.
Any forum members going this year?

J/K. To be honest and after re-thinking this trip, what I really want to do is attend some baseball drills at the home of my beloved Astros which is in Kissimmee. At my age I would fit in much better with the crowd at a baseball practice than I would during Speedweek.
I would however, love to see the Daytona 200 AND get in some demo rides! Been lusting after a Griso for a couple years. I sat on one at COTA last year.............Just wanted to ride it!!
Today while at work, I realized that I have an open invitation to stay at the Hard Rock Hotel/Casino in Tampa any time I want. The guy that runs it is a customer and friend of mine here in the Memphis area.
Hmmmm. Decisions decisions.

I missed this thread...but saw it on that little side bar. Now I know why
it's there. I'm going. Will be there the first weekend... riding
over Sat morning, spending the night, then riding back Sun afternoon.
And you're right... we really don't fit in (and I own a Harley...),
but it's still a fun few days seeing all the bikes, gear, and doing
some people watching. I don't drink alcohol when I ride and most
who are there do, so the bike really needs to be parked by dark.
