That looked close ! I do wonder if the guy on the CB is distracted a little by his talking, and could have spotted the threat earlier, but that truck just kept on coming !!! (Watch from 3:25)

Yeah I would say he was distracted. He didn't use his turn signals at all during that ride which is probably why the blue car honked at him, when he slowed to a near stop and pulled off the road. No gloves and he didn't adjust the mirrors at the start of the ride. The left mirror looks totally out of adjustment. This video could be used in a motorcycle riding training course.

I think so too.

His talk about the bike was not correct as well (powerfull bike and not heavy and easy to wheelie...lol).
Riding in the rain is also very cool and riding without gloves.

His left mirror was not tightend wich was very clear at the incident and he did not bother to tighten it, that makes me think if he even looks at his mirrors Smile

Amazed the truck came on out, that was close. Shows how invisible we are. Bike rider was very fortunate that RIGHT THERE was a drive way or side street with a solid surface for him to swerve in to and back out of, otherwise he would have been plowing a field. He did show some skill level and poise by not target fixating on either the truck or the field and managed to avoid both.

Speaking as a self-proclaimed idiot, that fellow did not inspire great confidence.

I believe this rider is a Bike Broker and in a previous channel he had, basically reviewed the Bikes for sale purposes. This Vid was cut a while back and re-published. Thankfully he has since then in another video taken on Wearing some Gear. He was lucky with that Truck. Probably a reaction time a little quicker and he could have slowed down and backed off on throttle and avoided dodging the truck!

That was 100% on the truck driver. That could have ended up MUCH worse than it did as it was.

The truck was at fault but the rider failed to recognize the threat until nearly too late. As the trucker approaches the intersection he is giving no indication of intending to stop. I think most experienced street riders would have picked up on this, slowed and been ready to stop.
