Heading Back To FLA. Today!
#1

Photo taken at High Valley Air Park, Suches GA, a little ways down the road from Two Wheels Only.
Over a week on the road so far. Just leaving Barber Vintage Fest for home. If there were any other CB11's here, I didn't see them. Enjoy my many photo albums on my Face Book page. Everyone take care and ride safely.

I wonder if the RC51 guys are saying, "A CB1100! Wow!" Haha. We all know they should be. No Facebook for me so I'll just enjoy this photo. Thanks Motogeezer!

seeing the air box gone in person rally impressed me and that is something i would like to do. you can see so much more of the classic looking engine and i know it runs cooler.

Have a safe trip back home! I've been riding up North Ga on roads, FSRs and trails for years. Its a great place for two wheel fun on or off road.

Just seeing this now, sorry to respond so late.
All was well at my house when I returned.
It's a cracker style house, built in 1935 so it's withstood many high wind events.
The community where I live is beautiful, and is fully treed.
The city makes it really difficult to take trees down and many of the larger ones, for many years - while looking totally healthy, have been dying from the inside out. Therefore there were lots of downed trees and branches, but little damage to property and no injuries.
BTW, my airbox delete isn't really a DIY type mod. You have to remove the bank of throttle bodies and have the inlet side machined flat so that you can mount the manifolds you'll have made (machining the flange, drilling and welding on the spigots to accept the pods). All that, plus pair valve delete with carbon fiber covers, the Power Commander 5 and dyno tune cost me about $1500.00.
Mine was the 2nd one the shop did, and I'm pretty sure they haven't done another. Nor have I seen anyone else perform this mod. http://www.motorcycleclinic.net
Highly recommended.
