Hi flyers over the CB
#1

Took my teenage daughter for a quick ride to my favourite South Coast run. Through the Royal National Park just South of Sydney and then down along the coast road past rugged cliffs and surf beaches.

Mid way is a favourite bike stopping point for a coffee, enjoy the view and chat about chrome and sprockets. Could be only a few bikes to dozens.

This time the wind was up and the car park is invaded by thrill seekers of a different kind. That first step is a doozy. 270 meters or 890 feet sheer drop to the Pacific Ocean.

Not sure if I am up to taking the plunge for a tandem ride? May just stick to the thrills on the road.

Yep cool shots. Can't imagine jumping off a cliff with a bed sheet over my head.

These pictures remind me of a sort of modern take on "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte" (Seurat) which hangs in the Art Institue of Chicago. Looks beautiful there.

Thanks Tony
only had the phone with me so not great technical shots.

It was an idyllic day for bikers and flyers alike. Spring at it's best.

Just put the racks back on the car so now for some kayaking and surfing too. When the sea warms some more will also get some diving in.

Just over the long cold spell and making the most of the welcome sunshine.

Yes you're right. Composition for sure. Also, to an extent, colouring. Very perceptive of you.

Cheers
