Can't say much as to the build quality of the Kawi, as I've never seen one close-up, let alone ridden one, but I'm pretty confident in the Honda quality, and that speaks volumes as far as I'm concerned.
Still, sad to see anything like this go away. I know they have quite a cult-following.

Go and share that statement to the significant amount of EX owners in Asia and Europe...

Riko... how many is a significant amount? We have 13 EX members in our registry and the stalling issue seems to be a rather sporadic happening.

yeah, thats the question...what is significant?

but don't forget its, for whatever reason, an EX issue, more than a DLX issue.
There are French cases: [url=http://www.forumcb1100.info/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=645&start=60]http://www.forumcb1100.info/viewtopic.ph...5&start=60
There are German cases: [url=http://www.cb-1100.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=897]http://www.cb-1100.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=897

And if I could speak Taiwanese or Thais, I'd be registering on their CB1100 forums...and I'd see Taiwanese and Thai cases as well.
Facebook already showed Asian cases.

Maybe Honda should use the US ECU's for all bikes Smile
On a local board somebody shared his story, he had a long time issue with his Honda and at some point they used a US spec ECU and the problem didn't occur anymore...

I'm not saying its an ECU issue we EX owners have, but on this US board you mainly see that its the EX models that have the issue, who are a minority here for obvious reasons.

Well, I was and can only speak of my own experience with my 2013 standard U.S. model. My statement still stands, as far as that goes.
