That's interesting. I read a story in one of the bike mags a year or so ago about a brand-new, never started CBX. This one had been part of a campaign Honda did with public High Schools. They gave selected school's shop classes a new CBX to use as a learning tool. The bike in the story had been pushed to the back of a storeroom where it sat for decades. One day the school was cleaning up and listed the bike for sale. A guy snagged it, and when he realized what he had, re-sold it for a tidy profit. That bike remains un-started and is displayed regularly at shows.

I was at Barber and a 1979 red CBX ,never started, never titled was sold for $35.000 (I know the owner and the person whom bought the bike)
The Barber Vintage days are better and better every year and the museum is by far the best in the world.
Mr. Barber might even build a second museum as there are many bikes in storage but not enough room in the museum to display them all.
Perhaps we could have a come together next year for the CB1100 owners,we seem to have many owners in the South East of the USA/
I've been wanting to go to Barber for ages. I almost went this summer when I was on the road for a 2 week camping trip, but just couldn't quite get there. I'd bust a nut to make a meet-up for CB'ers at the Vintage Event.
