Note: this post assumes 'black dog' is also known in the USA as Winston Churchill's metaphor for depression. On Sunday in Australia, the annual Black Dog rides to raise money for mental health and suicide prevention will occur around the country. Sadly, I don't think I'll be riding this year due to other commitments.

First pics I saw of the Black standard, I did not like it but after seeing one at my local dealer I had a complete change of mind. The black CB is a very handsome bike and if I could swing it, I would add it as a mate to my red 2013.

I wanted a CB1100 from the first time I saw it. Even back then I found the red acceptable, but not my favorite. Black or white were my preference and I was pricing black tanks from Mr. T. Once the '14s were out, in black, with a 6 speed, I was sold. I want an entire black fleet of cars and bikes in the garage. Almost there!

I'm an "older" rider pushing 50 and bought the Black model. I wish the DLX came in black otherwise I would have bought it over standard. I like the ABS and dual exhaust but wasn't a fan of the silver engine and wheels.
