Now that I've put a few miles on I can see that a new seat is needed, a small back rest for the wife, I would like a fly screen of some sort and prolly a tail rack. I have seen a couple aftermarket stores and I know about some of the general ones (Bike Bandit/Revzilla, etc.). Where do you guys shop for farkles? Are there any good CB 1100 specific websites worth checking out?

Samurider. Don't be put off by the distance from the U.S. (Japan). Most times I've gotten the order at my door in 3 days. (Don't know how)
You usually email thru his site about an item, and he'll get back to you with current price and total cost and you just order if you agree. The prices are listed in yen, but there's a calculator right there.
Beware the time difference though and don't expect a reply in 5 minutes, but he is very prompt and polite.

http://www.dartflyscreens.co.uk can't be beat for a flyscreen. Shipping is free and takes 7-10 days to USA /Canada. Several members here (myself included) have these and love them.

Takashi just posted on Samurider's Facebook page that he has moved to a location right next to Tokyo Intl. Airport and expects even faster shipping...maybe he is trying to compete with Amazon Prime, haha.

I would add that Dart offers two screens for the CB, the original Flyscreen and the larger Marlin. I've had both and currently have the Marlin which offers slightly more wind protection. With either one, you won't forget you are on a naked bike, but they both do a good job of knocking some wind blast off the torso.
For a little more wind protection and that late 70s Superbike styling, Chic Design (available through Samurider) offers the Road Comet (available RC2) fairing which you can buy painted to match. This is a bit pricier.

There are a number of tail racks available through Samurider, one of which is the OEM Honda rack. That one will allow you to fit the Honda top case which could act as a backrest. There is also the option of a Corbin seat with their plug in passenger backrest. We also have a forum member, Metal Maven I belie e, who has designed and fabricated a bolt-on backrest.
