Scenic GPS
#1
Ok this is big news to me.

if you don't know about it and you use an iPhone for a GPS you should check out this link.

http://www.motomappers.com

or search for Scenic on the App Store.

GPS for the iPhone that has a database of user rated routes all over the world and you can import your routes from other apps like Google Maps or Garmin Basecamp.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

No. But it looks interesting.

Yes. It works very well. Not perfect, but very well. It also tracks and records your ride. I used it as a backup to my Spot Gen3 to document my last Iron Butt Assn ride.
And thanks for the reminder. I will use it on this weekend’s roadtrip!

When they get an android version, I'll give it a try!

I used Scenic on my 8000Km tour of the east coast last summer. I didn’t use all it’s features but it was my go to app to get perspective. Should check to see if there has been an update since.

I used for a few rides so far, my impression is that it's great. Very powerful and from what I read the developer is actively working to improve it.
Thumbs Up

yes I have, and it is very handy.
I especially like the "breadcrumb" tracking and how it shows routes coming up in the distance.
Haven't used it since last season, and I can concur with other commentators that the developer seems to be motivated to improve it.
