There is something inexplicably pleasing about the CB1100

My inexplicably pleasing thing, small though it may be, are the green faced dials - just so emotive to me.

I hear ya HR.

For me, it is mostly about the visual simplicity of the inline-4 air-cooled arrangement. The lump is minimally tethered to tubes and wires.

To enhance the inexplicability of our rides I just ordered a set of these chrome gauge covers. Clap

Very nice. I love how some owners have taken the retro look way back in time. I had a 72 CB 350 in high school. Still have dreams about riding that bike. Wink

The bike is truly the best of both worlds .

Want to slow roll / cruise at 2000 rpm and still have power and pull ? Check

Want to grip it and rip it and get as close to a sport bike without being a full on sport bike ? Check . This motor really comes alive in a major way in the 4700 to 5000 rpm range and above .

And the styling ... Bitchin’

We all keep chanting the same mumble every few weeks all year long. Isn't that wonderful?
