PC V?

I've been reading through the threads on the PC V and my question is my 14dlx is stock except for a k&n, will I notice an improvement with the pc even though I'm keeping stock exhaust? Also with talk of all these maps, can you map with the pc on the bike or do you map it before installation with your computer?

Yes, you will notice gains even if nothing else is added.
Yes, you can load maps on or off the bike.

If you get the ECU flashed you can skip the PC V entirely (unless you like to reflash maps, there does not seem to be a grassroots free program to read and write to the ECU like the Ducati and Moto Guzzi folks have).
