rounded grab rail

Does anyone know of an available back of seat short grab rail that is rounded instead of the rectangular design? The only one I have found is chrome and I would prefer black. I think the rounded one looks better with a café style seat.

Maybe that's too rectangular. I wasn't sure what you meant at first.
If you can't find what you want in black, consider getting it in chrome and having it powder coated. Just a thought.

Thanks for the response and that is somewhat what I'm looking for; I just would rather have a rounded top. Hard to describe I guess but when looking from the back, I like it rounded instead of rectangular so as to conform to the rounded seat back of a café seat...if you can picture my weak description!

I've had a number of my items powder coated black with an added clear coat and they've come out great and have held up nicely. If you can't find what you're looking for already painted, you may want to consider getting that round chrome one and having it powder coated. Just a thought.

Thanks for the suggestion. I wasn't sure how well or even if powder coat would stick to chrome but since you all have had good results, I think I'll try it if I can't find one shortly.

With a proper sand blast or otherwise roughing up of the chrome finish, the powder coat will adhere just fine. Any reputable powder coater will have done plenty of chrome, know what they're doing and be able to answer your questions. Good luck and be sure to show off whatever you end up with by posting photos here. I'm sure you're not alone in preferring the rounded look to a grab rail.
