Pekingduck just started a thread [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=15127&pid=258271#pid258271]Honda Common Service Manual with a link to the manual at Revzilla. I went to the site to read about the manual, and then I also saw the following story:
[url=https://www.revzilla.com/common-tread/video-man-steals-his-fathers-motorcycle-to-restore-it]Man steals his father's motorcycle...to restore it
If you haven't seen it, check it out. It'll warm you up if you've got a cold night.

Nice story.
I'd like to do the same for my Dad as his MY2000 Bandit 1200 is just sitting there. It only needs pretty minor work and is already running but I know he'd be stoked if it was all sorted and ready to ride.

I remember when the Yamaha Maxim Midnight Special came out. Cosmetically interesting, and same workhorse Maxim under the veneer. I still have the marketing glossy.

Here's another great very touching motorcycle story I saw years ago

Be sure to watch it to the end, the old man can still ride!

I saw this one before, but I still enjoyed it

And, by the way, old (older) men can still ride...….if you get my drift

Both of those were great! Kudos to everyone involved! Makes me wish I had an old classic just sitting in the garage.

the way he gingerly threw a leg over it in his driveway really surprised me later in the video when he was ON THE GAS! Love that exhaust....
