Deluxe seat on a Standard.

I just put a 2014 Deluxe seat on my 2014 Standard. The seat will work on the bike but additional parts are needed to get the seat to fit right,these would be the brackets and collars. The bottom of the Standard seat is cut at an angle,the Deluxe seat is cut straight across,what this means is the grab handle for the Standard follows the bottom line of the seat,the grab handles need to be repositioned with the additional parts for the Deluxe seat.

Maybe I am wrong, but has other Forum members attempted/done a similar act? Just sounds familiar.

I’m sure somebody has but have they gone to the extent to use the OEM brackets? The Deluxe seat will go on a Standard and latch at the rear but the seat will sit on the grab rails and there is an odd gap between the seat and grab rails. PARTSZILLA has the schematic of the 2 seat with the brackets required.
