aaahhh i knew there was a catch. you can't just put it on. it's going to cost me the massive time and energy required to remove my exhaust and put it back on again, leaving the bike out of commission the whole time, on top of whatever it costs to have a professional weld it on. no bueno that's a heck of a headache.

I wonder if it'd be easier just to change the size of the thread?

If removing your exhaust for a couple days is 'massive time and energy / heck of a headache' then you aren't the kind of person that should be doing this kind of stuff anyway.

Agree. Thats why I was hoping it was a plug and play kinda thing. Figures it would just be not the right thread for some reason. O well.

If you have the delkevic like i do Its really not that much work to remove the muffler and connecting pipes, the header pipe could stay in place. And probably easiest to leave the exsisting bung for the stock 02 sensor in place and put the other one right beside it.

That's what I did on my Arrow header- it has a mid-pipe section and I just dropped it off at a shop, and picked it up the next day.


Rumor is there is/was a WBO2 w/ a smaller thread- but not common and very expensive. (I have been unable to locate one though, so unconfirmed rumor- even though it was from Dynojet themselves)
