Hello forum friends, I am sadly selling my beloved cb 1100. I have come to the conclusion that this bike is no longer is able to be ridden by me at this point in my life. After 47 years in the construction industry,my knees, hips can no longer contort to the unnatural position this bike forces one to ride in. However. I am not leaving the motorcycle brotherhood. I have just placed a order on a 2020 Triumph Speedmaster. This bike has forward controls which fits my aging body better. I am not ready to give up riding at this time. If interested look in the for sale section. Also not going to give up this forum and the fantastic people on here for their information, and comaradi. So stay tuned on a report in the future.

Well keeping riding is the most important thing, and if the Speedmaster let's you do that, I'm all for it. Cant wait to see pics of your new bike, with ride reports.

Love the look and profile of the Speedmaster. Make sure to come back and post up an impression. Hope you can ride for many more years.

Glad that you will still be
riding. As much as I loved my CB 2014 standard and had no expectation of ever selling it, until I had my eye problems, the foot pegs are slightly rearset, probably to clear the 4-cylinder motor.
I have never liked forward controls but of the five positions available on the Can-Am Ryker I now have, I find them most comfortable all the way forward.
Long Ranger:
Great to see you on the Wild Guzzi forum! I just recently posted there for the first time in almost a year.
Thought about you, leaving Denver early morning a week ago Tuesday when I saw the turnoff to Evergreen, as I was headed to highway 50. This time I70 was closed due to the fires, last time it was closed due to avalanches.
