Well, I never expected to ever see, much less own something so weird. When I was working in a Honda parts department in the mid '70s, someone called asking if I had parts for one of these. I've never met anyone who has seen or heard of one since.
It's a 1962 Honda M85 Juno scooter, 170cc four stroke flat twin with an automatic trans. Only about 5800 made, mostly Japan market, some in Thailand, never brought in to the US. Likely a soldier returned home with it.
It was lying outside in someones driveway where I was buying another bike. Left carb and manifold are missing, pull start rope and points cover are gone, as are taillight and rear turn lenses. and the front fender is wasted. But it turns over and has compression.
If anybody has any parts or info on it, it would be greatly appreciated.
