Looks an interesting bike. I can't see electric bikes really capturing a large segment of the touring market while they take so long to charge.

You can't buy an aftermarket exhaust for more noise or a power commander for an electric bike. That would immediately disqualify them for a lot of riders lol
I have ridden a Zero S and it was a pretty interesting ride. if they were $8K new (instead of $20K) I would probably give one a try for my local riding. The new Zero's look pretty sharp.

I like this bike - a LOT. Beautiful to look at, not too heavy (440 lbs) and with 0-60 mph in under 3 seconds, probably VERY nice to ride... And with 200 mi / 320 km of range, they are perfect for mid-range Sunday tours or commute. True: charging time is too long (3 hours to full) and just as important: 25,000 US$ (for the HS models) is still a lot of money. But +/- 10,000 US$ less than the (just as beautiful) Energica models! If their build quality is OK, I think they have a market.
