I fitted a Givi rack and a Monolock top box to my '13 CB, as my wife won't ride pillion without having something at her back. In addition, she is one of those ladies who doesn't go anywhere without her handbag (or purse for our American cousins), so on the occasions she deigns to ride with me, I use the box for said handbag/purse and away we go. Total cost of rack and box about £ 150. This arrangement suits me as I don't really like the look of permanently attached back-rests and if I'm riding solo, the rack on its own is quite unobtrusive.
