Pillion Report

Well, Sunday was a fab day and I was even more than happy when my wife said she would like a trip on the CB. We did about 70mls round trip, a few stops for tea etc, but she said that the seat was'nt too comfy, so we have decided to get a little padded protection. What do you think, Air or Gel.
Also she wants another bike of her own, last one she had was the BMW 650cs, this time its eigher Moto Guzzi Nevada or Yamaha 550 virago, I fancy the Guzzi, anymore suggestions.
Happy days Mick.

Thats the one, it's a shaftie, weighs 185kg very low seat, but, just going to check the footpegs are'nt to far forward.

535cc V Twin. Lots for sale and loads of custom bits to choose.

G'day Mick. Not sure I can help much with the bike, but I've seen people on Viragos getting along well in group rides. They've been around for a while and seem like an OK bike.

I have an AirHawk seat (well, it's a cushion really) as I find the CB1100's OEM seat pretty damned hard after a while. It slips on and off easily and makes a big difference. http://www.airhawk.co.uk/

I put it on the pillion seat on the rare occasions my wife comes along.
