Progressive glasses and riding

I went to the eye doc to get new glasses yesterday. Haven't been in a long time and my left eye is blurry. He said I have a bad cataract he usually only sees in 3rd world countries. And one just starting in my right eye. So now I'll be getting cataract surgery. But, I'll get new glasses after that! Woo Hoo!

And yes I got chewed out for waiting so long. Getting old is starting to suck.

Congratulations, M'Lord. While your biological lenses can get old and cloudy, (which is what we call "cataracts") the artificial ones that will replace them should be good for as long as you need them. And remember, getting old is no fun, but it sure beats the alternative. Best wishes for a speedy recovery and many years of good things to look at.
