Thank you all for these great replies. I have to admit I like the looks of the blacked out standard than the ABS model. I have always had the attitude that if I was in a situation where ABS was necessary then I was doing something wrong. I've only owned one bike with ABS (BMWR1200RT) and I never had the occasion where the ABS was engaged. I'm disappointed in Honda that they would introduce this beautiful retro air cooled bike and discontinue it only after a couple of years. Triumph has supported their brand on the back of the Bonneville model with great success.
