Oil Cooler finish
#1
Greetings all. The other day I noticed that the top, flat surface of my oil cooler is blistered. It was hot so I didn't touch it to check if it was just the black paint coming off the metal, but it appeared there were large blisters forming on its upper surface of the metal itself.

Has anyone else noticed this? I'll check to see if it's paint or metal blistering tonight when I get home.

Nope, mine's as smooth as glass.
Are you sure it wasn't just dirt or accumulated mud? It seems like a pretty hearty finish.

Odd. I'm happy to say I haven't experienced the same thing. I have about 6800 miles on the odometer.
