Modded CB for sale in AZ - whose is it?
#11
That's a cool cowl he made for the seat -- it looks like it covers the stock seat and is removable.

Neat touches on the cam cover inserts with the Ride Hard/Stay Cool medallions (?) advertising some kind of oil product. Also numerous other design touches you don't notice at first glance and have to go through the whole series of pics to hone in on. At 32.5K miles this guy/gal must have liked how it turned out because that's a lot of miles to accrue in the café position.

Those medallions are from Amsoil and are for sale on their website.

Yeah, a ton of miles for a cafe bike. I'm impressed.

I like how it matches the lines of the tank, and just fits in with the CB1100's styling.

Funny part is that when I pulled up, one of the sales people outside asked if I was riding an old restored CB. I told him that they probably had one like it on their floor. Tongue I don't blame him though. The new location sells just about every major brand of motorcycle and had hundreds of bikes on the showroom floor.

Isn't their new place HUGE!? I live just four miles south.

Give the dude some credit..32k miles! Say what you will about the bike , but he's a rider. Everyone has their own very personal image of what a cafe/ custom bike should be. Harder to sell, but with a few tweaks, can be a good bratty CB for someone else.

Everyone makes their bike their own. How you express yourself through your mods is up to you. I've seen some people here do a LOT worse with their bikes but I keep that to myself and let them express themselves. I think the bike looks cool especially the seat cowl but those bars would kill me in a day. Who knows if the guy who modded it even put all those miles on. He could have been the second or third owner.

Unless the ad says original owner, lol. I didn't read the whole thing.

A little far fetched, but he could have changed the handle bars recently or not too long ago too.
I do like how the bike looks, but the oval exhaust doesn't go with the CR theme in MHO.
