Great article about Dick, who was a huuuge promoter of all things Honda. Bought my first bike there. His son Mark now runs the dealership and sold many CB1100's, though the 13's did not fare as well once the '14 came out.

Bettencourt Honda Mass. was VERY big in the Northeast as a dealer and race sponsor both track and dirt.
Loudon was their home track and I saw David Bettoncourt race Interceptors in the '80's. They also had several incredible barns full of collectible trade-ins of every brand plus factory racebikes gathering dust due to neglect, family attrition and time. 1 of the long-lost 1969 factory CB750 prototypes was scored there recently in a bargain lot sale and re-sold for $135G

Bought my brand new XR75 there in 1977. Worlds coolest t-shirts. Would like to buy a 2014 DLX from them if they had one.

Bought 3 bikes there while I was living in Mass. and test rode many others. Great people!
