Thanks David. Honda rectifiers seem to give up on about 40.000 km's or 10.000 miles in my experience. My NC 750 has the same problem. The rectifier is struggling. It seems that those connectors fit firmly, but that is the plastic part of it. You can not see if the connectors self are tight. I think they loosen up over time caused by heat. I buy a rectifier with cables coming out of it. Then I cut the connector off the bike and connect the cables directly to each other. Now there is a flexible connection further away from the rectifier. Zip ties and the rubber boot help to put it all nicely away so that water doesn't affect them. Time will tell I presume.
