Hello fellow CB1100 enthusiasts,
May I kindly ask if anyone has the instrument cluster wiring diagram for the 2012 CB1100, five-speed, single exhaust version? I’m planning to modify my gauge cluster and would like to build a smaller custom instrument board myself. I would be truly grateful for any assistance from the community. Thank you very much.

swy,
I replied to your email, but Cormanus’ post on diagrams is all we have. We do not have schematics or diagrams for the cluster itself.
You will have a project. Any info on the cluster that you find would be good to know here.

In this forum and the previous one, there have been several posters who wanted to know how to install aftermarket gauges. To my knowledge, no one has been successful at even getting the speedometer function to work.
There is no actual wiring diagram of the instrument assembly ever made available. While you may be able to map the printed circuit, the actual values/functions of the components is unknown.
You probably need to have an electronics engineering degree to decipher most of the required input/output signals. Let us know if you have any success.

Hi Lord Popgun ,
Thank you for your reply and for pointing me to Cormanus’ post. I understand that there are no schematics or diagrams available for the cluster itself.
I’ll continue to research and gather any information I can find. If I come across anything useful regarding the cluster, I’ll be sure to share it here for everyone’s reference.
Thanks again for your help.
