Just finished viewing it on Videopass.
Best race of the season, just brilliant tactics and strategy on the part of Rossi and Crutchlow. Rossi's choice of the soft front was a good one, Crutchlow's hard compound was just a little better. Had Rossi chosen the hard/hard setup as did Crutchlow, he'd have won the event, barring a mechanical failure or crash. But the second place was excellent, puts him back in second and within reach of the championship. These guys' ability to feel such extremely subtle changes in grip over the course of a race are marvelous. Lorenzo just lost his head, there is no other explanation. Emotional.

Lorenzo appeared to me to argue with his crew when he pitted. One of the crew with hand gestures seemed to say, just get out there.
Ianonne tire was decomposing itself toward the end, scary. Overall a great race and kudos to Crutchlow for the victory.

did you see the slow mo with the chunks of rubber coming off Iannones front rain tire?
my wife said 'soon, he's going tobe riding on the rim" lol. It's a miracle he and Marquez even finished on that rubber.

A revealing race. Lorenzo is a fathead that continually refuses to listen to his team. Marquez seems to be maturing. Rossi is a wily veteran - most of the time

To come back from 12th place to finish second, that took some serious thinking. And Crutchlow's choice was even better but seemed more of a gamble, coming all the way from 15th place to win. It was part waiting for the hard compound to heat up and deliver some grip, and then waiting for the soft tires to disintegrate. Rossi was just starting to fall back in the last couple of laps and his front tire would not have gone much longer.

The guy I think is improving the most rapidly this year is Iannone. No question about it now, the man can ride exceptionally well. But he is getting his head on straight.
