Looking to purchase a 2014 DLX seat because I prefer the look and the slight increase in height over the 2013. Nothing on Ebay, but I see that I can purchase the seat via Bike Bandit for around $260. Just wondering if anyone else has purchased one directly from Honda or via a third party like this and if I will need to buy the little rubber bits in addition?
77200-MGC-N21ZA is the part number I'm looking at.
Thanks!

you might want to put a wanted ad in the classifieds. People buy Lamms and Corbins and K&H's for their bikes and might have a DLX seat hanging around in the garage they'd be willing to part with for less than the price of a new one.

Good suggestion Ferret. I kind of thought that the 2014 DLX seats would be scarce by now and I just ordered a new one from an online source. Will see if it comes with the necessary rubber bits to just mount it.

Although the rubber parts are available separately on the fiche, if you order a seat they show as included.

If you are installing a '14 DLX seat on a '13, be aware that the lower edge of the seat will not line up properly with your silver grab rails / turn signal mounts. The bottom rear portion of the seat is at a different angle than the '13. Mine fit but made contact with the grab rails. I ended up removing the rails and building a custom luggage rack / backrest that matches the angle of the seat.
Good luck!

Good to know! I had one on my previous 2013 and not sure if I noticed it.
My new to me 2013 should arrive today or tomorrow so I'm excited to check the fit of the 2014 seat I ordered.

I Bought from Bike Bandit, no issues other than it took them 2 months to get it in and send it to me, which wasn't an issue since I was waiting on the local Honda dealer to get a new 2013 rear rim in that they managed to drive the bearings clean through the end of the bearing cup in the rim, that I had asked them to install new hardware in. But not one issue on quality or anything else. Just depends on how much you want to save money.
