Had a couple of near misses with cobra's & other random snakes over here.

Goes back to the fact that we riders are always in a more precarious position than the cagers, no matter the conditions.
We had a tree fall and kill someone on a road in Montana but can't remember if it was a pedestrian, rider, or cager.

Very true. Here in Thailand fences are a rarity, so all sorts of cows/buffalo/dogs wander across roads BUT the main reason for it being in the number one slot for motorcycle deaths, is either D&D or not wearing a helmet.
