Colorado high passes closed for Memorial Day

For those of you fortunate to be enjoying riding season, and perhaps contemplating a trip to Colorado this holiday weekend for a ride in the Rockies, be advised many high passes are still closed due to snow. I had 3" at my house two nights ago and the Front Range is forecast to be in the 50's-60's this weekend and rainy, so the mountains will remain wet and chilly. It should by drier and warmer on the western slope.

Here's yesterday's snowplow cam from Trail Ridge Road (which crosses Rocky Mountain National Park).
