I elected to quit another forum after discovering the moderator had edited -- and later deleted -- one of my posts because he disagreed with my point of view regarding a certain motorcycle. I was never given an opportunity to defend my perspective. It was his perogative to censor me but it made me question everything else posted there.
Wow, such unethical conduct would seem to be cause for revocation of moderator status.

I had the bike in storage last winter but not this year - our seasons are changing and up here in the frozen north of the UK there were a lot of mild days when i could have gone for a ride - bought a scarf last week and brought out the winter gloves.

Does seem like a meaningless reason to edit or delete a post.

Most of my years of life is behind me now. Just trying to enjoy my remaining years without getting to darn serious. Lesson learned. Mike

I read my previous post today and I am a bit embarrassed. An ill-considered response... Sorry ferret for requiring you to replace my bad word.

I wash my bikes with Honda cleaner and a light hose. Works like a charm, often.
As for language, just turn on the radio. Sigh. - NHawk7504

Well, watching the video reminded me of the reason I didn't ride Harleys for the first 28 years of my riding career. Then I recognized that it was silly to NOT do so because of the stereotype of the H-D crowd (I know a few genuinely intelligent guys who ride H-Ds, and a whole bunch of genuinely nice guys who do).
Hafta say, I've ridden BMWs since 1986 and know lots of those (BMW) guys, and there's pretty much no way any of them would try this . . .
My Harleys cost WAY too much to try such nonsense!

I ride a Harley and I wouldn't do this...
But in reality who is he hurting? Looks like he is having fun and everyone is laughing - it's his bike and life, who am I to judge?
