CB-1100 with Slip Streamer SS-20 Windshield
#1

Well, here's the new scoot! It is absolutely great! One of the best motorcycles I have ever owned. I re-set the handlebars to suit me, took off the stupid tank stickers, put on the tank protector carbon fiber pads, and installed the Slipstreamer SS-20 windshield. That was a bit of a pain - after installation I still had to peel all the "cheesy" pinstripes and the word "Stealth" off and then clean and clean and clean using plastic polish until it's completely clean now. I'm waiting on the case savers, highway peg mounts, pegs (from Germany - ETA mid August) and my factory rear rack (backordered from Honda - ETA mid July.) I have a set of soft bag "stays" that will fit perfect, so when everything gets in this bike should be ready to do whatever I want her to do. I even got my dealer (Honda of Princeton) to throw in a filter and 4 Quarts of Honda Oil so I can do my own first service and not have to pay for it through them!

Very nice pictures! That shield looks very substantial with 4 mounting points and decent thickness. Plus it looks like it provides hand protection.

What's the other bike in the garage?

My other bike is a 1985 Honda Sabre 700S with 19K on her. I just finished getting it back in great running order a few months ago. I took an 1100 mile rally run on her the second weekend of June to Boone, NC. That V-4 will run! Almost 30 years apart but still high quality machinery ...

How's the wind protection for your height / torso / inseam at about 70-75 mph?

How's the buffeting with and without ear plugs on a full face helmet ?

Is this the model that can be removed in seconds when needed ?

Thanks for the pics.
