Also sunblock, rain gear, binoculars. You only see a small bit but it is personal. My 12 year old and I loved it. It is fast, no tv truly captures that. You will have a blast. Next spring come to Austin, ride the hill country, and come stay with me. I have spare bikes also.

I'll be trailering mine, I did buy a cover...I'm trying to decide it will be worth the trouble to cover it if it rains.

Price was reasonable enough off Amazon from a brand name...Nelson-Rigg MC-904-04-XL Deluxe All-Season Motorcycle Cover (Black, X-Large)

I just tried it on, it seems to fit fine even though Amazon says it won't.

Here is the link: http://www.amazon.com/Nelson-Rigg-MC-904...000GU3KHO#

$36.67 with free shipping using Prime.

Has anyone else tried covering one while trailering it? I wondered if the wind would just rip it to shreds.

Now my only problem will be stuffing it back into that little bag it came out of. ;-)

I would worry that the wind buffeting the cover will abrade the paint. Dirt will get under cover and just the fabric itself will scratch the paint at highway speeds.

Dont cover...like Elipten says the flapping will scratch, and that's if the cover survives. Just pack a couple of towels in the trunk to dry it off if it gets wet. Other than that it's in the same conditions weatherwise, as if you were riding it.

Try a Nova Race Radio GP 5000. Brilliant. Cuts down the massive noise and allows you to listen to the race commentary. Up to five of FM and five of AM radio channels can be pre-tuned. Good for the cricket and footy too.

Cheers

Yeah, I could that flapping around. We ended up riding in the rain today after we left Wheels through time museum. It stopped and we had beautiful weather while riding the dragon.[Image: ef02e72a29d07985e3b5e8d1e186db7e.jpg]
