Hello everyone,
At the moment I am thinking about switching out the standard seat on my 2013 CB (non abs) with a “retro-stitched” seat that comes with the 2014 deluxe model. I was wondering if the fitment would be an issue? Thanks!

Welcome Skimmer. I believe there is a current thread on the board now discussing that very thing. I guess it all depends if the 14 seat will fit on the 13. One of the computer whizzes will show you a link here in a minute I assume.

Well looky there. I managed to do it! Now if the 14 seat fits the 13 Bob's your uncle.

Cross reference the part numbers between the 2013-2014 Standard seat before you spend any money. If you want to do it right you will need the 2 brackets and all the spacers. Go to a parts website such as PARTSZILLA and compare part numbers and look at the schematic for a 2014 Deluxe to see all of the associated parts. Check out my thread on the seat subject in the MODIFICATION section.
